A rubber clack valve prevents water back‐flowing from the suction hoses when the pump stops working.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis feature means that pumping can recommence immediately and even means that pumps without self priming can be easier to restart. The clack valve can be manually released by pulling on the release line allowing for quick and easy clear up. The Amphibio’s pickup filter has been specially designed to prevent blockage due to floating debris.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e Thanks to the fact that the filter is 2.5 times the size of the strainer outlet the risk of total blockage is minimal. Amphibio’s floatation unit is constructed with high strength, impact resistant polyethylene plastic. It is impact and scratch resistant.
